The PGE Foundation supports hospice patients

The PGE Foundation showed its support for our Hospice by co-financing the care of Hospice patients as part of home and inpatient care.

The financial donation from the PGE Foundation was intended for the purchase of pulse oximeters and oxygen concentrators. 

In the daily care of terminally ill children, high-quality equipment is essential in monitoring vital signs. Pulse oximeters are used to measure the body's oxygenation level. 

Depending on the pulse oximeter readings, decisions are made about the need to connect an oxygen concentrator. The concentrator affects the oxygenation of the entire body, 

eliminates the feeling of shortness of breath, and improves the quality of life of a small patient. The purchased equipment will be used in an inpatient ward 

and in a home hospice in the Lublin Voivodeship.
